Cardiac First Responder Scheme 2009

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Sports Partnership would like to invite expressions of interest from local sports clubs to apply for an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) and fully equipped First Aid Bag. This scheme also includes associated initial one-day training for six individuals from the successful clubs.

Funding for this once-off scheme has been provided through the Irish Sports Council and five clubs will be selected by the Board of the Sports Partnership to receive this equipment and training. The scheme is only open to sports clubs based within the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown county area and particular consideration will be given to applications, which target young people in areas of social or economic disadvantage.

Application forms are available at www.dlrcoco.ie/sports/funding.htm or from the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Sports Partnership office. The closing date for receipt of applications is 5pm on Wednesday the 7^th January 2009. Late applications will not be considered.
