DLRCOCONominations are invited for awards to honour top sporting achievement and voluntary service across Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown

An Cathaoirleach, Councillor Cormac Devlin's Sports Awards gives residents of the County an opportunity to honour those unsung volunteers or outstanding young sport persons from within Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown.

The awards will take place on the 25th May 2017, at the Royal Marine Hotel, as the winners in each category are honoured for their incredible hard work over the past 12 months.

Anyone living in Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown, representing a school or club within the area is eligible to be nominated on the applicable category, including:

  • Club Volunteer Administrator of the Year
  • Club Volunteer Coach of the year
  • Long Service Club Volunteer (over 10 years in volunteering)
  • Young sports person of the year

If you know of a club member who you believe should be recognised for consistently & unselfishly offering up his/her time & effort for the good of their sport, club & community simply complete & return an official Nomination Form. The winners in each category will be chosen by a panel chaired by An Cathaoirleach Cllr Cormac Devlin.
