Operation Transformation Walk Event

Our annual FREE 4km public walk will be held on the 7th January in Dun Laoghaire (starting in the People’s Park) at 9.30am. This event is being held in conjunction with RTE’s Operation Transformation programme. On this day every County in Ireland will have a similar walking event to cater for all levels of fitness, but in particular those looking to start exercising again. Trained walking leaders will be present on the day for a helping hand and there will be a hot cuppa at the finish.

Walking For Health

Starting on the 14th January, this 5-week walking programme is taking place in Dun Laoghaire on Saturday mornings from 10.30am to 11.30am. It will cater for all fitness levels and will be a great excuse to get out, be active and make new friends. Meeting at Dún Laoghaire Harbour Plaza, each week the group will walk a different route such as the Pier, the Metals and the coastal walkways taking in some of the historical sites the area has to offer.
