Active School Flag Presentation

The Active School Flag is a Department of Education initiative that wishes to recognise schools (primary and post primary) that provide quality PE, sports and physical activity programmes for their students.

The presentation will:

• Give an overview of the Active School Flag initiative and progress to date.
• Explain the application procedures
• Give practical advice and ideas about how schools can work towards achieving the Active School Flag
• Inform teachers about the help and support that is available to them from outside agencies such as the Local Sports Partnerships, National Governing Bodies and the HSE.
